H.E. U Soe Lynn Han, Myanmar Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union and Spouse, Staffs from the Myanmar Embassy and their family members participated in the ASEAN Bike Ride Event and ASEAN Family Day Event under the auspices of Malaysia and Indonesia Embassies in Brussels which were held on 1-10-2022 in honour of celebration of the 45th Anniversary of the ASEAN-EU Relations.
Subsequently, ASEAN Family Day Event was celebrated at 1130 hrs: at the Indonesian Cultural Centre. Cambodian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Nong Sakal, current Chairman of ASEAN-Brussels Committee (ABC) and H.E. Mr. Gunner Wiegand, Managing Director of the Aisa and the Pacific, European External Action Services (EEAS) delivered remarks at the ASEAN Family Day Event. The cultural performance by each embassy of the ASEAN countries were conducted and traditional foods were served in the ASEAN Family Day event.
Responsible officials from the European Council, European Commission, European Parliament, European External Action Services and Belgium Federal Public Service of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors and Spouses from ASEAN Embassies and other countries in Brussels and invited guests were participated in the ASEAN events.
