Madam Le Le Win, Spouse of H.E. Mr. Soe Lynn Han and the staff family of the Embassy of Myanmar contributed some home-cooked meals to the “Great Love without Borders” food donation for senior citizens in Residence Malibran, which was organized by the Asia Pacific Women Association (APWA) in Brussels, Belgium on 28th October 2019. At the event, the President of the Residence Mr. Pierre Demanet made welcoming remarks and presented certificates to the spouses of Ambassadors and APWA members in recognition of their contributions. In return, Madam Le Le Win presented a miniature of Myanmar traditional harp to the President as a token of friendship.
The Asia Pacific Women Association (APWA) in Brussels was established by the spouses of Ambassadors from Asia-Pacific countries based in Brussels, Belgium and Madam Le Le Win is the current Financial Officer of the Association. The members occasionally organize events for cultural exchange and cultural promotion between Asia-Pacific countries and Belgium.
