Video Message of the State Counsellor to the 29th Annual Meeting of the UMFCCI

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi said that, despite the challenges of Covid-19, Myanmar still has good prospects for its economic development.
As it is important to create favourable condition for investment to flow in, Myanmar has made strenuous efforts to create a good investment climate characterized by transparency, simplicity, predictability and competitiveness.
Myanmar’s ranking, which stood at 171 last year, now stands at 165 according to 2020 Ease of Doing Business Report of the World Bank.
The State Counsellor also stressed the need to establish stronger post-Covid public-private collaboration, to develop the micro, small and medium enterprises under the leadership of women entrepreneurs, to enhance digital transformation and to strengthen the private sector of Myanmar in the implementation of RCEP.
