An informal meeting was organized between the Myanmar Mission to the EU led by Ambassador H.E. Mr. Soe Lynn Han, and the Representatives from the Asia-Oceania Working Party (COASI) of the Council of the European Union, and the responsible personnel from EEAS, DG Trade and DG DEVCO, at the European External Action Service (EEAS) on 10 October 2019. During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed COASI and all participants of recent political, economic and social challenges in Myanmar in the context of its democratization process, particularly the ones in relation to Myanmar-EU relations and cooperation. Also, the parties exchanged views in order to work towards more constructive and closer bilateral cooperation between Myanmar and the EU for mutual benefits in the future.
