Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the EU, H.E. Mr. Soe Lynn Han, met and discuss with the DASE Delegation the Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, on 12 February 2020 as for the envisaged visit of DASE to Myanmar in May 2020.
Following the opening remarks delivered by Honourable Chair of DASE, Member of the European Parliament Mr. Daniel Caspary, Ambassador H.E. Mr. Soe Lynn Han briefed the meeting of the Myanmar Government’s endeavours in the country’s democratization process, especially latest developments in the domains of peace and national reconciliation, sustainable development, trade and investment and socio-economic development. Then, the Ambassador and the DASE Delegation exchanged views on these matters and conducted preliminary discussion on logistics of the said visit of the Delegation, to Myanmar.
